Jewelry organizers from Leatherology.com

Anymore, if something makes it into my travel bag, it has to be a tried and true favorite of mine. That includes jewelry, and well, now my jewelry organizers. We’ve all tried to find a solution to store our jewelry traveling, right? From ziplock baggies to old make up bags (yup, the ones that come free with purchase) to maybe if we splurge, one of those jewelry cases we see at Target around the holidays. NO. NO. AND NO. None worked.

I like to be organized at home. I have donated everything I just don’t love and really try to only buy what I love. When I started looking around for something to organize jewelry when I travel I wanted something compact, lightweight, reasonably prices and pretty. I had heard about Leatherology but had never tried any of their products. I took a gamble and I am oh so glad I did! I bought two items.

A small zippered pouch, and-

(Isn’t that story teller bracelet divine? Bought it at a pawn shop in Albuquerque after searching for just the right one for years. Turquoise ring is a old pawn piece too. ABQ is full of interesting pawn shops)

A large jewelry case.

I bought both in beautiful Red Apple (there are about 10 colors to choose from), which is a full grain, and got them blind embossed for $10 each. The zippered pouch is $40 and is 5″H x 7″W x 0.5″D. There are two interior side pockets.

If you are looking for more organization, the large jewelry case is $70 and is 8.5″H x 5.75″W x 1.75″D The case:
Has 6 snap tabs to hold necklaces in place
Holds 7 pairs of earrings
2 zippered pockets
Snap out ring bar
Zip around opening
Suede interior

I use the zippered pouch on just about every work trip and put it in my favorite carry on. Which, for the past few years has been The North Face Tannen Yoga tote. (Sorry folks, they don’t make it anymore!) I am not one for crazy colors, nor do I want it to scream TNF, so I bought an olive color. The bag has a padded laptop area on the side, the pouch slides right in.

Once I fell love with these, I bought my mom a few items for her 70th…ahem, I meant 60th if you are reading Mom : ) They come beautifully gift boxed and make for a perfect keepsake. My mom loves blue so I bought each other items in Cobalt. I particularly love the drawstring pouch, which is $25.

So what do you think?…The holidays are around the corner, give them a whirl! Men, if you are having trouble thinking of the perfect gift, buy one of these organizers with a cute little jewelry bauble from TJ Maxx. They have plenty of sterling silver pieces for $20 and under. You’d be all in for $50. I know, Merry. Christmas!
